2007 catch-up

Sorry I've been gone so long. Got married, moved in to our new house, plenty of things going on as you, dear Blog, can imagine.

Nothing has gotten any better concerning our occupation of Iraq, only worse. The number of American dead is now well over 3,100 with nothing good to show for it but the removal of a virtually toothless tyrant.

Not much is better in our nation's capital either. Democrats have made some progress fighting the Junta but not much.

On the bright side it is has become nearly impossible for the Junta to be believed on anything anymore. Every day evidence of their lies and incompetencies are exposed to the light of day via the mainstream media, opinions, blogs, and so on. For example, although still wretchedly dupliticious, the WaPo published an excellent account of a Bush news conference which left little room for doubt here was a president desperate to hide the truths, twisting, squirming, gladhanding, and lying, just to survive one news conference intact.

The Libby trial now awaits a verdict. Libby is the highest ranking WH person to be charged in Federal Court in many decades. A guilty verdict, uphel on appeal or not, will rock this Junta gang even more.

All for now.
