Why Do They Condone Unbridled Greed?

One of the sickening incongruities of the Radical Right is how they will go to any measure to protect the accumulation of vast wealth by such few people. They will scream bloody murder at even the hint that something is wrong here, that it is not inherently good to concentrate fortune in the fewest hands possible, that the greater good (a phrase that drives them wild with visions of bearded Marx and Lenins)qualifies as a real goal and should be the course we take together. (They also despise the word together).

Endanger corporate greed for only a second and straight out the window goes all that phoney talk about brotherhood, good christian fellowship, etc. etc. etc. And bring up the subject of how the christian bible clearly does not condone wealth concentration, and all those good christians suddenly turn into raving capitalists spewing arguments of how just because it says this, it really means something elelse all together and greedy fat bastards are just fine with the Baby Jesus, yada, yada, yada.

I conclude those of the Radical Right are the true hypocrites and the evidence is incontrovertible. Oh yes, they chortle over an expensive haircut for champion of the poor John Edwards, or the fact Al Gore has a big house, but it is they who are the liars here and their lies damage us all each and every day. Personally, I'm tired of it. ~L
