Two comments On Condi Rice

I keep wondering when the media will tell the obvious truth about Kindofsleezy Rice. So far only Keith Obermann, and he only once, has pointed out her total lack of both honesty and knowledge.

What I have observed about Kindofsleezy is that she is a compulsive liar. That is she not only lies when it suits her, she lies even when the truth would serve her purpose equally.

But the one most obvious fact about Kindofsleezy is that she makes no decisions and has no influence on policy. Rather like George Bush her job is to sell the decisions and policies set by others.

Like Bush, as sales person facts have no meaning to her. That is because she is not involved in policy decisions facts are irrelevant to her. She does not care if what she is saying is factual or not and merely repeats the same lies with a smile over and over like any salesman.

I mean look at her performance before 911 and her comments since. She was briefed by many about the dangers and did nothing. In response to Richard Clarke she claimed Clarke was not aware of any Bush anti terrorist actions because as Bush’s terrorist Czar he was “out of the loop”. Her comments about no on could imagine that someone could fly a plan into a crowded area when most children imagine this possibility before the age of 7 and she was briefed on exactly this possibility.

The reason for Kindofsleezy’s inaction and stupidity is that as no one important with in the Bush administration takes her opinion seriously, there was little she could do. And because she herself seems to like her role as second to Bush as sales person for Dick Cheney, there was even less she tried to do.

The only real role Kindofsleezy has in the Bush administration is public relations. As evidenced by the results of her meetings with foreign diplomats and those diplomats attitude toward her it is obvious that all of the world leaders realize that Kindofsleezy is only about public relations.

The question is when the American media will realize what most Americans and the entire rest of the world realize: that Kindofsleezy Rice has no policy role in the Bush administration, is purely in the job of sales and everything she says bears little resemblance to the facts.

Rice is doing a perfect job. The State Dept was made irrelevant long ago. There were far too many foreign policy and diplomacy professionals inside State for Cheney to bend them to his hellbent for war will. They would not willingly carry all Cheney's water, so State was chopped off and turned into a sideshow. SecState Powell worked under that cloud as long as he could, then quit. He carries that shame to this day.

Rice is doing a superb job of playing SecState, while concentrating 100% of her efforts at protecting Bush. This is what she has always done for Bush. Rice certainly loves George W. Bush passionately as evidenced by her slip of the tongue when she referred to Bush as her husband.

The same thing happened at CIA in that one professional after another parted company rather than lie for Cheney. To achieve the lies Cheney and Libby needed, the WH circumvented CIA and formed the Office of Special Plans. Among this group's accomplishents was selling the lie of a Saddam-al Qaeda conspiracy. Wolfowitz and Libby were the main lieutenants there, working for their master Cheney.
