Tuesday's electoral results have reduced the GOP to the old ultra-racist Confederacy, plus a handful of sparsely populated wildlands. Ironic in that the party of Lincoln is now just the old Confederacy.

Tomorrow we will see if those high poll numbers indicating an Obama presidency are borne out by white folks casting aside their vestiges of racism and casting their Barack votes, or not. A Barack landslide would surprise me more than a squeaker for Johnny for just that reason.
