Amazing Election Coincidences?

Is it not amazing that with GOP control of Congress on the line in the upcoming mid-term elections that gasoline prices are at a nationwide low? And even more amazing these low-low prices followed right on the heels of record high prices and record high Big Oil profits?

Coincidence?

Or how about that Saddam Hussein trial? Is it a coincidence the verdict will be announced on November 5th, just two days prior to election day in America? Is there any chance the verdict will not be guilty?

Who Still Follows Bush And His Bushit?

Difficult to believe there are many people out there still believing in the White House lines of Bushit. Their lies have been exposed over and over. The number of US dead and wounded is over 20,000 now. Iraq is disintegrating, the facade of security fading. So, who still believes in this Bush craziness? Very few, but obviously there are people who still support Bush for certain reasons.
1. They profit from Bush and BushWar.
2. Some WASPS who believe Bush protects their interests above all else.
3. Religious fundamentalists unwilling to see past the obvious, that the GOP uses them the way one uses lawn fertilizer.
4. The terribly mal-informed such as Billo followers, Rushites, and so on.
5. The deeply prejudiced.
6. Republican office holders not willing to risk the wrath of the GOP.
7. Those who deliberately choose ignorance as the easiest course to self satisfaction.

Are there more? Maybe, but not many.

The State Of The State Of Georgia

Amazes me more every day. The mind-numbing blatant assault on human progress going on in that state boggles the mind. I mean they came this _ close to nominating Ralph the Felon Reed to Lt. Governor. I mean they actively seek ways (in effect) to reinstall Jim Crow voting laws. And their local school boards? Thumping their bibles to their chests to force their dogma on to everyone, like it or not. Georgia, where they slimed a hero named Cleland to elect a zero named
Chambliss. Amazing

Condi Rice, Criminal Negligence or just Criminal?

On top of the mountain of evidence Rice was an utter failure as NSA, and is a colossal failure as SecState, now comes glaring new evidence from a universally respcted voice who quotes two people who were right there in the thick of things in the summer of 2001 that Rice was handed red hot information of impending al qaeda attacks YET CHOSE TO DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT.

But though Tenet and Black warned Rice in the starkest terms of the prospects for attack, she brushed them off, Woodward reiterated Monday. He told NBC’s “Today” show that Black told him the two men were so emphatic, it amounted to “holding a gun to her head” and doing everything except pulling the trigger.

In any other place or at any other time, this evidence piled on top of all the existing evidence would, beyond any doubt, bring down a government so undeniably filled with lies, incompetence, and bloody failures.
